The canvas in this painting is 6 by 12 inches. This monster wants to practice for USA’s Halloween. But Halloween is 3 months away. One of its friends set up a candy filled piñata. It was shaped like a donkey and hanging from a tree branch. Monster grabbed the candy sack and wanted to be first. Pop it went and it rained candy.

This mixed media painting was created using acrylic paints. The piñata is raining all sorts of candy. I use rhinestones, faux candy created from resin. There are glass leaves in the tree and some followed the candy’s path. The base of the tree has some resin flowers.
