Mixed media painting of a Fiesta with Señorita

This painting started as an 8 by 10 inch white canvas. Using acrylic paints, I created a scene from one of our many fiestas or celebrations. There’s a señorita dressed in her Mexican outfit as if she’d just came from performing at Ballet Folklorico. There’s a pottery cactus, holiday lights, a piñata all designed on the site of a backyard patio. This piece was decorated using glass rhinestones and resin flowers.
