This 7 by 9 1 /2 by 4 inch mixed media painting reminds me of the saying “To the Moon and Back.” The base has been painted a light lavender with pink tones. The snow globe's base is painted a light teal. In the globe area I painted a forest scene at dusk with lovely colors lighting the sky. The moon and girl are made from polymer clay. Covering the painted globe is a clear half globe shape that makes this picture 3-D. Around the outside of the globe and on the base is a hot pink colored rhinestone ribbon. In the middle of the double ribbon on the base is a pink flowered broach. Around the outside of the globe on the lavender and pink background are yellow stars with a teal rhinestone in each center.
