This 12 x 12“ painting started on a black canvas. I used acrylic paints to create the base drawing. Once the paints were dried, I started bringing this painting to life by using glass tiles on the planters on the bottom. Rhinestones also added into the planter to fill out the form. Each planter host a cacti. Each cactus is decorated with glass, rhinestones and bugle beads. There are flowers on each cacti

In the center of the drawing is a young Mexican or Latino girl she is decorated with rhinestones and a medium size cabochon. On the top of her head is a painted flower crown, and it is accented with brightly colored metal flowers.. There are banners hanging across the top of the canvas, accented with glass butterflies and resin hearts..
