Feliz Navidad shadow box painting

There are many traditions that my husband’s family celebrates. One of them is the tradition of going to Mass during the Advent season, if we had not gone much that year for different reasons. We then would go as a family and when we returned we had a fiesta in honor of the son who gave his life for us.

This is a 5-inch square shadow box. The inside was painted with acrylic paints. The scene is our outdoor patio complete with a foam clay cactus decorated with faux tree lights. Every where you look is texture and color. At the base annd sides are faux bricks. There is also “plot of fake grass and flowers. on the outside is a fiesta banner

The clay doll reminds Me of so many of my girl’s friends. This one is a girl dressed her best holding her doll.
